With all the craziness of remodeling, no toilets and waiting on delivery men and plumbers, it was nice to have a happy lunch with John today.
On Saturday I promised him that we would have lunch at Macaroni Grill today. We both ordered our favorites, John loves the Spaghetti and meatballs, I had the spinach salad. John was very happy to be there, was on his very best behavior, and was a joy to sit with. Since we were there early, we got to sit by a nice warm fire on this cold and rainy day.
One things about dining out with John, they remember you. I went with a co-worker there one time when it was busy. The manager recognized me and sat us immediately because I was a valued customer.
